Mosaic Mural created at the 2011 IEATA Conference in Lima, Peru
Our public art projects are typically designed with a dual purpose of neighborhood beautification and inclusion of various populations. We work with different community groups to promote different themes. Mosaic mural projects help neighborhoods come together, while promoting a sense of usefulness and self-esteem. I facilitate a safe space for the participants to design and create the public murals. They use creativity and newly learned mosaic skills to amplify the "Beauty We Possess".
